i try to find some help thru this forum, as i'm not able to get an Answer from Futaba Services (which i tried thru several contacts already as "FutabaUSA Technical Support Supervisor", "Klaus from ACT EUROPE Distribution", "Minicars Hobby Distribution" and finally "Fasol Spain Distribution"...)
Futaba, never replied to any of these distributers during all these months.

the problem is the following:

I've purchased an used Futaba T32MZ transmitter 2 years ago. The language of the device is all in English in the main screen. But in the small top screen (Home 2), the telemetry labels are in French. The same telemetry labels in the main screen are in English (picture below). E.g. :

Pos 1 – "Recepteur" in the top small display. "Receiver" in the main display
Pos 2 – "Température" in the top small display. "Temperature" in the big display
Pos 3 – "Vitesse tpm" in the top small display. "RPM (magnet)" in the main display

When I got the radio, software version was in v3.7.0 and since then, I've been doing all firmware upgrades until v4.3.0 without any issues, but the labels on the small screen persist to be in French. I believe the problem was already present when I got the transmitter with 3.7.0. Considering that serial number is on "B9" range, I imagine that previous owner did multiple upgrades until reaching v3.7.0, but I can't confirm.

I also did all the "Data Reset" in the linkage menu, but did not solve.

User manual, also does not refer to any language setup possibilities on the transmitter, so I have no idea how the radio can be set all in English.


Do you have seen this problem before, or have any idea ?

Maybe the sensor has been renamed. Check LINKAGE MENU - Sensor Name.

thank you for the feedback.
I think is not the sensor name, but the built in transmitter labels, probably in some DLL (this is what i suspect, but i might be wrong, of course ). The problem happens with multiple sensors that i've already connected.

for example in the photo we can see examples of
- Futaba Receiver Voltage Telemetry (e.g. R7008SB device)
- Futaba GPS Telemetry (SBS-02G GPS sensor) - Speed label (in French 'Vitesse')
- UniSens-E XT90 sensor - (e.g. using CUR-F1678 sensor) - which labels are shown as 'Cour.F1678 Capacité and courant' instead of Capacity and Current.


I'm a Futaba user for almost 40years and bit disappointed as struggling to get some suitable support from their services...

Very strange! Must be a WINDOWS-Problem.
(Just kidding.)
To be honest, I would expect better service from FUTABA.

Unfortunately, I do not own a T32MZ. My contribution was just an idea and to give you some support.
Anyway, I will further try to figure out possible issues and I'm going to ask my friends, who are using FUTABA too.

One question left. Why does the information screen show EDITOR Version 3.8.0 and ENCODER Version 1.4?
Latest release should be 4.3 and 2.1 respectively.

once more, very appreciated for your feedback.


the photos attached in my first post of this thread, are taken from the first email i sent to futabaUSA support in 23/Nov/2023 . After that i exchanged more 30 emails multiple Futaba distributers asking some clarification, and always attaching the same photos...

but you are right, currently the transmitter already had multiple firmware updates and it is now on Editor ver 4.3.0 and Encoder version 2.1. (new photo in attach)

Hi Carlos

Your concerns about possible DLL Issue might be an indication into the right direction.
Have you ever tried to install an other language and then reinstall the english version?

Otherwise, factory reset in the FUTABA Service Center.

Hi Daniel,

i did not try to install any firmware with different language. I was able to find the v4.3.0 German version from www.minicars.se .

would like to know if anyone from the forum has ever tried to perform such firmware installation with different language on T32MZ from the one that is present on the device, e.g. from English to German ?
any problem found during this procedure ?
